- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Extra virgin olive oil (for drizzling)
- Kosher salt (to taste)
- Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
- ½ cup BBQ sauce
Instructions
- Preheat grill to high heat (about 450°F) and clean the grates.
- Drizzle chicken with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Place chicken on the grill, cover, and cook for 5–6 minutes until it releases easily.
- Flip and cook another 4–5 minutes.
- Brush the top with BBQ sauce, flip, and cook 2 more minutes. Repeat on the other side.
- Cook until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Remove, loosely cover with foil, and rest 5 minutes (temperature will rise to 165°F).
Notes
- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts cook quickly and evenly.
- Chicken thighs or bone-in pieces can be used; adjust cooking time as needed.
- Serve with extra BBQ sauce for dipping or drizzling.
