Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to high heat (about 450°F) and clean the grates.
  2. Drizzle chicken with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Place chicken on the grill, cover, and cook for 5–6 minutes until it releases easily.
  4. Flip and cook another 4–5 minutes.
  5. Brush the top with BBQ sauce, flip, and cook 2 more minutes. Repeat on the other side.
  6. Cook until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
  7. Remove, loosely cover with foil, and rest 5 minutes (temperature will rise to 165°F).
