Description

A festive treat of cranberries coated in sugar for a sparkling presentation.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Add cranberries and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and let cranberries cool in syrup.
  6. Drain cranberries and roll in sugar until coated.
  7. Spread on a baking sheet to dry for an hour.
