A refreshing dessert combining sweet strawberries, creamy filling, and a crunchy pretzel crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping, thawed
  • 6 oz strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 lb strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water and let it cool to room temperature.
  3. In a saucepan, mix melted butter and sugar, then stir in crushed pretzels.
  4. Press the pretzel mixture into a 9×13-inch pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool completely.
  5. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then fold in whipped topping.
  6. Spread the cream mixture evenly over the cooled crust. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  7. Stir sliced strawberries into the cooled gelatin mixture and pour over the cream layer.
  8. Refrigerate for 2–3 hours until fully set. Slice and serve chilled.

Notes

  • Ensure the crust is fully cooled before adding the cream layer to prevent melting.
  • The cream layer must fully seal the crust edges to keep the gelatin from seeping through.
