Ingredients
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Stuffing – 1 box (or homemade)
- Green beans – 2 lbs
- Mashed potatoes – 5 lbs
- Gravy – 1 quart
- Cranberry sauce – 1 can
- Pumpkin pie – 1 (9-inch)
- Biscuits – 12
- Collard greens – 2 lbs
- Sweet potatoes – 3 lbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F.
- Prepare the turkey by seasoning and stuffing it.
- Roast the turkey in the oven for 3-4 hours.
- Boil and mash the potatoes, adding butter and milk.
- Cook the green beans until tender.
- Prepare the gravy using turkey drippings.
- Bake the sweet potatoes until soft, then mash with butter and brown sugar.
- Cook collard greens in a pot until tender.
- Warm the biscuits in the oven.
- Serve the pumpkin pie for dessert.
