Description

A sweet and salty treat made with Ruffles potato chips and marshmallows.


Ingredients

  • 5 cups Ruffles potato chips (about 8 oz)
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Sea salt
  • Cooking spray or extra butter (for greasing the pan)

Instructions

  1. Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan with cooking spray or butter and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.
  3. Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and quickly stir in the Ruffles potato chips, gently breaking them as needed to coat well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the greased pan. Using a buttered spatula or lightly greased hands, press the mixture evenly into the pan.
  6. Sprinkle sea salt on top.
  7. Let the treats cool and set at room temperature for 30–60 minutes.
  8. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve.

Notes

  • Work quickly when mixing the chips with the marshmallow mixture before it firms up.
  • Lightly greasing your hands or spatula helps prevent sticking when pressing the mixture into the pan.
