Description

Delicious Red Velvet Brownies with a unique twist.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, slightly softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup M&M’s
  • 7 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped (regular stuffed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Add the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Mix just until combined.
  5. Fold in the M&M’s and chopped Oreo pieces.
  6. Scoop the dough into 10 equal portions and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 13 minutes. The centers will look soft but will continue to set as they cool.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For perfectly round cookies, gently swirl a large round cutter around each cookie immediately after removing from the oven.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for several days.
