Ingredients

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups raisins
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract; mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture; stir until combined.
- Fold in raisins.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool on wire racks.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- For chewier cookies, bake for less time.
- You can substitute raisins with chocolate chips if desired.
