- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch

- 3 large egg yolks

Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk egg yolks, then add milk and cream.
- Gradually add the milk mixture to the saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and pecans.
- Pour filling into the pie crust.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
- Top with whipped cream and additional pecans before serving.
