Description
A simple and delicious homemade cinnamon toast recipe that is quick to prepare and perfect for breakfast or a snack.
Ingredients

- ¼ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- pinch salt
- 4 slices white bread (can use whole wheat bread or Texas toast)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Using a small bowl, add butter, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract and salt; stir until well combined.
- Spread cinnamon butter mixture evenly on top of slices of bread. Make sure to spread butter mixture all the way to edges of the bread slices.
- Place bread on a sheet pan. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
- Broil for 1-2 minutes. Watch bread closely at this stage as it can burn quickly!
Notes
- Use fresh bread for the best texture.
- Adjust cinnamon and sugar to taste.
