Description

A simple and delicious homemade cinnamon toast recipe that is quick to prepare and perfect for breakfast or a snack.


Ingredients

  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch salt
  • 4 slices white bread (can use whole wheat bread or Texas toast)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Using a small bowl, add butter, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract and salt; stir until well combined.
  3. Spread cinnamon butter mixture evenly on top of slices of bread. Make sure to spread butter mixture all the way to edges of the bread slices.
  4. Place bread on a sheet pan. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes.
  5. Broil for 1-2 minutes. Watch bread closely at this stage as it can burn quickly!

  • Use fresh bread for the best texture.
  • Adjust cinnamon and sugar to taste.
