Description

A simple and delicious recipe for Teriyaki Chicken made in a crockpot with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli and bell peppers.
  6. Once cooked, shred the chicken and mix it with the sauce and vegetables.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
