- Provolone cheese, optional
Instructions
- Place the beef chuck roast in the crockpot.
- Add sliced onion, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours until the beef is tender.
- Remove the beef from the crockpot and shred it with two forks.
- Return the shredded beef to the crockpot and stir to combine with the juices.
- Serve the beef on hoagie rolls, topped with provolone cheese if desired.
- Use the broth from the crockpot as a dipping sauce.
