Description

Deliciously rich and chewy cookies inspired by Crumbl’s Salted Caramel Cheesecake, featuring a creamy cheesecake center and a drizzle of salted caramel.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
  7. Using a cookie scoop, drop a spoonful of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, then make a small indentation in the center of each cookie.
  8. Fill the indentation with a dollop of the cream cheese mixture and drizzle with salted caramel sauce.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with sea salt while still warm.
  11. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar.
