A simple and traditional recipe for homemade cranberry sauce.
Ingredients

- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Rinse the cranberries under cold water.
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil.
- Add cranberries to the boiling mixture.
- Cook until cranberries burst, about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Store in the refrigerator until serving.
Notes
- For a twist, add orange zest or spices.
- This can be made ahead of time.
