Description

Delicious caramel apple cheesecake bars that are perfect for fall, combining creamy cheesecake with sweet caramel and tart apples.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 cups diced apples (about 2 medium apples)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined, then press into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Fold in the diced apples and cinnamon into the cream cheese mixture.
  6. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
  7. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top of the cheesecake mixture.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set and the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use brown sugar instead of granulated sugar.
  • Serve with additional caramel sauce drizzled on top.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
