A delightful appetizer featuring asparagus wrapped in flaky puff pastry.
Ingredients

- 1 package of puff pastry
- 1 bunch of asparagus, trimmed
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into rectangles large enough to wrap around the asparagus.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a spoonful of the cheese mixture on each rectangle.
- Place an asparagus spear on top of the cheese mixture.
- Wrap the pastry around the asparagus and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

- Use fresh asparagus for the best texture.
