A hearty Amish burger steak bake with rich flavors.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into patties.
- Place the patties in a baking dish.
- Pour the cream of mushroom soup and milk over the patties.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese melts.
Notes
- You can use ground turkey instead of beef.
- Add vegetables for extra nutrition.
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
